This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. They help the website function, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our services.

We may also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels, tags, and embedded scripts. Depending on how they are used, these technologies may collect information that is personal information under the Privacy Act, especially where they can identify or reasonably identify a person.

Cookies and similar technologies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by third-party providers integrated into our platform.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the website working properly
  • Keep you signed in to your account
  • Maintain your booking progress and cart
  • Remember preferences such as currency and language
  • Improve website performance and user experience
  • Understand how visitors use our website
  • Support fraud prevention and payment security
  • Support marketing measurement where applicable

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our website and cannot be disabled through our systems. They include:

  • Authentication cookies used by our platform to keep you signed in
  • Session cookies to maintain your booking flow and cart
  • Security cookies to detect fraud and protect accounts
  • Essential preference cookies, such as currency selection

Without these cookies, key features such as booking, login, and account access may not function properly.

3.2 Functional Cookies

These cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, including:

  • Language and region preferences
  • Recently viewed packages and searches
  • User interface settings and saved preferences

3.3 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors interact with our website. It collects information such as:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on pages
  • Click behaviour
  • Booking flow interactions
  • Page load and performance information
  • Device, browser and approximate location (via IP address)

We use this information to improve our website, services, and user experience. We configure analytics to collect only the information reasonably necessary for those purposes, consistent with the OAIC’s data-minimisation guidance. Analytics data is processed by Google on servers in the United States. Analytics cookies run according to your consent choices (see Section 4).

3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and to show more relevant advertising on Meta platforms. These technologies collect:

  • Pages viewed on our website
  • Device and browser identifiers
  • Purchase events, including order value and currency (but not payment details)

In line with OAIC guidance on tracking pixels, we:

  • Disclose these tools clearly (this policy and our first-visit banner)
  • Request opt-in consent where required by law (EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland)
  • Provide a simple opt-out everywhere else, via the banner and the footer links (“Cookie Settings” and “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information”)
  • Honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an advertising opt-out
  • Configure these tools to avoid collecting sensitive information

3.5 Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies and similar technologies are set by third parties integrated into our website or booking flow, including:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics), for website analytics
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel), for advertising measurement and retargeting
  • Payment processors, for payment processing and fraud prevention
  • Buy-now-pay-later providers, for BNPL functionality
  • Cloud infrastructure providers, for authentication and session management
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, for hosting, performance, and security

These providers may collect and process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and technical settings.

4. Consent and Control

How analytics and advertising cookies behave depends on where you are:

  • EU/EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland: analytics and advertising cookies do not run until you accept them via our cookie banner (opt-in consent)
  • Everywhere else (including Australia and the United States): analytics and advertising cookies run by default, and you can switch them off at any time
  • Global Privacy Control:if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out from advertising cookies and the “sale”/“sharing” of personal information

You can change your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the website footer, which reopens the consent banner with per-category controls. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Please note that:

  • Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent bookings, login, or account access
  • Disabling functional or analytics cookies may affect website performance and user experience

5. Tracking Pixels and Embedded Tools

We use the Meta Pixel on our website and the Meta Conversions API (a server-side equivalent) to record completed purchases, as described in Section 3.4. Both are subject to the same consent choices: if you decline advertising cookies, neither is used for your visit.

We take reasonable steps to ensure these tools are configured appropriately, used transparently, and limited to the minimum amount of data necessary, consistent with OAIC guidance on tracking pixels — including clear disclosure in our Privacy Policy and reasonable steps in relation to overseas disclosures.

6. Overseas Disclosure

Some information collected through cookies, pixels, or similar technologies may be disclosed to or processed by third parties outside Australia.

Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients do not breach the Australian Privacy Principles in relation to that information. This is consistent with APP 8.

7. Relationship to Our Privacy Policy

This Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and related technologies.

Our Privacy Policy explains in more detail how we collect, use, disclose, store, and secure personal information, and how you can access, correct, or complain about our handling of personal information. APP 1 requires that privacy policies cover those matters, and APP 5 requires collection notices to include similar transparency around collection, usual disclosures, and overseas recipients where relevant.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
